Austrian alpine ski racer Marcel Hirscher made his off-season a little more interesting this year by bringing a flash of colour to his home slope on Reiteralm mountain near the town of Schladming. “I was skiing at racing speed, even though the colour blocked my view after each gate,” says Hirscher, who set off ink cartridges from inside his ski poles.
