New hi-tech 3D printers make what has always seemed impossible, possible. The options are literally endless…

EARGANICA 3D printer would have presented Van Gogh with new options: it’s possible to print a personalised mould in which a human ear can be grown. It may have come a few years too late, but artist Diemut Strebe used it to do just that, with genes from the painter’s great-grandnephew.
