Farewell Tours: These 3 bands will be touring for the very last time in 2017
The rock legends will be saying “Aero-Vederci Baby!” as they say goodbye to their fans by embarking on a tour in May, June and July. That’s the plan at least, as it seems guitarist Joe Perry is already having doubts about hanging up his guitar for good. In a recent interview with Howard Stern he said: “It could be the last, but it’s really hard for me to imagine a last gig.”

“I know, I’ve been announcing my retirement for the last five years,” explained Clapton in a letter to fans at the end of last year. But this year Clapton intends to keep his promise so he can spend more time with his family. Will this really be his last year? It wouldn’t be too unrealistic – he already has 50 touring years under his belt.
In December 2016, the New York synth-pop duo announced out of nowhere that they were calling it a day to work on new solo projects. It’s come as a shock to many fans, but it’s better to go out on top. Chairlift will be thanking their fans with a small farewell tour in April. Go see it if you can!
