London has loads of places to go for decent streetfood. It’s almost impossible to get bored, especially as the pop-up restaurant scene in the city is constantly being refreshed with new places to dine. Frankly, if you’re planning a meal out in the capital, there’s no excuse for having a rubbish dinner.

Take a look at our list of London locations and see which one takes your fancy. We guarantee you’ll be drooling by the time you reach the bottom of the page.

Big Apple, Brixton

Where: Popes Road, Brixton, SW9 8JH

When: 27th October 2016 – 17th January 2017

What is there to eat?: An ever-changing line-up of NYC street grub, with burgers courtesy of Burger Bear, pizza by Grandmaster Slice, and mac’n’cheese specialities from Mac To The Future

Expect to pay: £3.50+ for a slice of pizza, or £7+ for a fully loaded burger

Where: Ruskin Square (next to East Croydon mainline station), Croydon, CR0 1LD

When: 8am-11pm daily

What is there to eat?: What isn’t there to eat? Boxpark Croydon opened in October 2016 and is currently able to boast 30 different food outlets offering everything from gourmet donuts to Guyanese cuisine. The most popular traders are Coqfighter (who offer chicken and beer), Bang Bang (Vietnamese), Nanny Outars (Guyanese), Fish Wings & Tings (Caribbean), The Potato Project (Spuds galore) and Feed Me Primal (free range heaven)

Expect to pay: £10 should get you well fed

Dinerama, Shoreditch

Where: Shoreditch Yard, Great Eastern Street, EC2A 3EJ

When: Thu/Fri/Sat from 5pm (Winter months), Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun from midday (Summer months)

What is there to eat?: You have 10 options at Dinerama including BBQ Lab, Breddo’s Tacos, Yum Buns and Duck’N Roll

Expect to pay: Entry is free before 7pm, £3 after. As a guide, a Slow Roasted Belly Pork Yum Bun with cucumbers, spring onions and hoi sin sauce costs £4 per bun

Last Days of Shoreditch, Shoreditch

Where: 288 Old Street, Shoreditch, EC1V 9LA

When: 27th October–17th December; Thu/Fri from 5pm, Sat from 6pm

What is there to eat?: Mamas Jerk (Caribbean), Cheese Truck (toasties and more), Rainbo (Japanese), Wingmans (chicken), Pull And Punch (slow-cooked meat)

Expect to pay: Entry is free on Thursdays and £5 on Fridays and Saturdays. However, we’d recommend buying advance tickets – these get you queue jump, guaranteed entry and a free drink (£5 Thursdays, £8 Fridays and Saturdays). A Pulled Pork Bun from Pull And Punch, with south Indian sorpotel curry sauce, fries & slaw, costs £12

Magic Roundabout, Old Street

Where: Inside Old Street tube station, 16 St Agnes Well, EC1Y 1BE

When: Midday-11pm, Tue-Sun

What is there to eat?: White Men Can’t Jerk (Caribbean), Dirty Vegan, Burger Bear

Expect to pay: A roast cauliflower steak burger from Dirty Vegan costs £7

Model Market, Lewisham

Where: 196 Lewisham High Street, SE13 6LS

When: Summer months only – every Fri/Sat from 5pm 

What is there to eat?: The are 11 traders including Scoopsy Daisy (pictured above), who are famous for their fruit-blended ices

Expect to pay: Entry is free before 7pm and £3 after. A sharing plate of Crispy Salt & Sichuan Pepper Squid with pastel mayo at Ink costs £10

Block, Shoreditch

Where: 187 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JN

When: Daily from 12pm

What is there to eat?:  Shoryu (Asian), Freebird Burritos, Pizza St. and more

Expect to pay: Shoryu’s highly-recommended Ganso Tonkotsu costs £11

POP Brixton

When: From 9am daily

What is there to eat?: You can take your tastebuds on a world tour at Pop. There are nearly 20 places to choose from, covering cuisine from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Highlights include Kricket (Indian food in tapas-style portions), Donostia Social Club (Basque eats), Made of Dough (epic pizza), and the fairly self-explanatory Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen

Expect to pay: Samphire Pakoras and a dish of Keralan Fried Chicken at Kricket will cost you £12
