Who will grab gold in rugby sevens at the 2016 Olympics? We look at two of the favourites and their star players: Gillies Kaka (New Zealand) vs Seabelo Senatla (South Africa)

At long last, after a hiatus of 92 years, rugby is an Olympic sport again – even if ‘only’ in Rugby Sevens form. It’s sure to be one of the high points of the Olympics: 12 rugby teams battling it out for glory over two days.

Played on a normal-sized pitch, but with teams of just seven, the matches will be quicker, more exciting and, most importantly, much shorter than in 15-a-side rugby.

The 2013 World Champions New Zealand are favourites to win, alongside Fiji.

Their main challengers are the Blitzboks of South Africa, who have one of the quickest men at Rio 2016 in Seabelo Senatla – and speed is doubly important in Rugby Sevens.
