So what’s the plan?
With the completion of the Death Star imminent and the Empire on the rise, Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), a Rebellion soldier and criminal, is sent out on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star to aid in its destruction.

So who is going to help her? That would be Captain Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna) at 0:37, Baze Malbusat (played by Wen Jang) at 0:50 and Chirrut Îmweat played by Donnie Yen at 0:56 amongst others.

Who is Forest Whitaker playing? That’s Saw Gerrera, who is a resistance leader. If you were a Clone Wars fan, then you may have heard that name before.

Who’s the C-3PO looking dude? That K2SO, the brand new droid that will be accompanying our band of rebels and no doubt providing a few well-timed comical elements to the action.

AT-ATs? Yep, the cool-ass All Terrain Armoured Transport walkers are back (or already here given as this is a prequel) as we’re treated to some rocket launcher to AT-AT action at 1:35.

Who is the very evil looking man at 1:14? That’s Director Orson Krennic (played by Ben Mandelsohn). He’s the director of the Advance Weapons Research division of the Imperial Military and is responsible for protecting the security of the Death Star project.

DARTH VADER?? Yep, that’s Darth Vader at the end. It’s still unclear how big a role he’ll have in the film, but is has been confirmed by Kathleen Kennedy (president of Lucasfilm) that James Earl Jones will be providing the voice.
