Braden Currie tells us how to fight boredom and eat right to stay in top shape

Braden Currie is arguably the fittest man in New Zealand. The 26-year-old is a rising star in the world of multisport and adventure racing. Trail running, mountain biking and kayaking are just some of the disciplines Currie excels in. Getting his nutrition right and coping with boredom during long training sessions are some of the other challenges of being a top multisporter.

Beat the boredom of a long training session with Braden’s top three workout songs

Jurassic 5 - High Fidelity

“You can’t beat a bit of the old school. J5 just knows how to make you feel good.”

Shapeshifter - In Colour

“This track is already an all-time great training song. You’ve got to love Kiwi music.”

Six60 - Rise Up 2.0

“Six60 have got that feel-good factor. It’s the sound of the summer and it makes you move. It’s just awesome.”
