Can You Pass The Ultimate Fitness Test?

These are the minimum standards that rescue swimmers have to achieve in their monthly fitness tests.

1. 50 push-ups, with arms shoulder-width apart, in two minutes

2. 60 sit-ups in two minutes

3. 10 chin-ups (five gripping the bar from below, five from above).

4. 500 yard crawl in 12 minutes

5. 25 yard underwater swim, four times in a row, with 60-second intervals

6. 200 yards carrying another person through water
