AMINE EDGE & DANCE: Tribe Festival — São Paulo, Brazil

“Our favorite festival experience ever was probably Tribe Festival in São Paulo, where we played the main stage at prime time. It was unbelievable, the enthusiasm of the Brazilian crowd was insane, it was our biggest gig ever in Brazil, probably 10,000 people — it was like winning the World Cup final.”

NICOLE MOUDABER: EDC — New York/Las Vegas, USA

“I hosted my own MoodZone stage at EDC NY last year, which was such a huge honor and a very exciting experience. It was a monumental day and the tent was the place to be without a doubt. There were some serious moments and incredible memories made, and all my guests smashed it to pieces — Lauren Lane, Mind Against, Paco Osuna and Chris Liebing. Chris and I closed out the evening back to back, and the energy was just electric! It’s a shame the New York edition is cancelled this year, but I always have an amazing time playing at all the other EDCs around the world.”

Electric Daisy Carnival 2017

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, has been the home of EDC since 2011, and the city once again welcomes hundreds of thousands of electronic dance music fans to the perfect union of technology and nature.

ILARIO ALICANTE: Kappa FuturFestival — Turin, Italy

“Kappa Futurfest is definitely one of my favourite festivals. It’s an open-air party running throughout the day. The venue is simply outstanding and the production is huge. It’s held in the middle of the beautiful Parco Dora in Turin. It’s not easy to find a venue like that mixed with the special energy that the Italian crowd always delivers. Having that sea of people in front of me when I play, with that amazing sound system — it’s more than special. Thumbs up to the promoters that are finally bringing a serious festival to a country that deserves it.”

MAMBO BROTHERS: Tomorrowland - Boom, Belgium

Definitely Tomorrowland, we did both, Sao Paolo and the Belgian one, and the experience was just unbelievable! The production that these guys do, plus all the talent that they bring over is just insane. We are going play this year at WE ARE FSTVL for the first time, and we have heard great things about it as well so we can’t wait!

DANNY HOWARD: Hideout — Novalja, Croatia

“For me, the crowd make the festival! They bring the energy, the vibe, the excitement and help define what that festival represents. I played Hideout for the first time last year and they were the most up for it and clued up crowd I’d played to. The lineup, music policy and concept was perfectly executed meaning that the people there knew exactly what they were getting. This is a festival that knows its identity and delivers 100 percent! Hideout is a festival that’s serious about its music but serious about having a good time too. I can’t wait to go back!”

SECONDCITY: BPM Festival — Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

It’s so rare to play at a place where you get to see so many industry friends all in one place, with everyone going to each other’s gigs. It’s such a cool vibe and this is what makes it such a unique festival and place to play. On top of all of this is the production, which is amazing — each venue is so cool and it’s something that you spend the whole year looking forward to as it’s such an awesome way to start the year! A proper Mexican reunion.”

"I don't think of it as a job," says Pulitano. "When you enjoy what you do, it doesn't feel like work." During the planning stages, he and the other founders consider every aspect of the festival, which takes over the Riviera Maya.

KLINGLANDE: Lollapalooza — Berlin, Germany

“I’ve played a lot of festivals around the world, from Future in Australia to Tomorroworld or EDC. I think one of my favourites, which remains a great experience, is Lollapalooza Berlin. It’s always a pleasure to go there. The audience is really composed of music fans, festival fans, people who want to enjoy and dance in peace and happiness. I really feel that at Lollapalooza. The vibe, the environment, the team and friends around me is amazing.”

BAKERMAT: Shambala Festival — British Columbia, Canada

“My all time favorite festival must be Shambala Music Festival in Canada. It’s the weirdest, most magical place in the middle of the woods. Everybody can be completely themselves which gives a really colorful palette of people walking around there. There’s no hotel or anything close, it’s just you and your tent. Even the artists have to stay at  the site! When I was playing there I really felt that the crowd had a passion for music and appreciated even the weird tracks I sometimes play. I can’t wait to be here again and play in front of all those beautiful people.”

THE MAGICIAN: Calvi On The Rocks — Corsica, France

“My all-time favorite festival is Calvi On The Rocks in Corsica, France. I like it because it’s small, intimate and free. The day starts on three different beaches from 2 p.m. until 7pm. Then everybody leaves the beach to go to the city center of the village and there all the DJs play in shops, coffee bars, ice cream shops until 9 p.m. Then the concerts and other DJ sets start in a castle, at the top of the hill with a stunning view of Calvi. This goes until 3am! Then for those who still have energy, the 3 Calvi clubs open from 3 a.m. til 7 or 8 a.m. It’s more based on electronic/tech/house!!

SAM FELDT: Coachella — California, U.S.

“Lots of live acts, but still being able to get a full tent as a DJ when playing in the middle of the day. I played with live sax and live singers, it truly is a highlight in my career.”

SOLARDO: Parklife — Manchester, UK

“We’d definitely say Parklife as we’ve been going since it started in a park next to our house years ago. We’ve seen it grow year by year to one of the biggest in Europe. Every year the lineups get bigger and better and we can’t wait to play this summer! It’s in our hometown of Manchester so we know the atmosphere will be electric — we’re counting down the days.”

MIGUEL CAMPBELL: Your Paradise — Fiji

“I had the pleasure of playing at the festival last year and enjoyed back-to-back sessions with Breakbot, Skrillex, Doorly & Justin Martin. We played music at various pop-up locations around the island; the main stage, on the beach, on a sandbank and on a floating club in the middle of the sea! With lots of entertainment and activities in between the music, you can see why this is my favorite festival!”

SULTAN + SHEPARD: Mysteryland — Chile

“We’ve played so many incredible festivals, it’s hard to choose. But one of our favorite experiences has been at Mysteryland in Chile. We’ve played twice and the energy of the crowd is on a different level — maybe it’s because there are less festivals there than in other countries, or maybe it’s because the fans in Chile have so much energy, but whatever it was, both times we played, felt like total magic. There was just so much love coming back at us — so much jumping and singing and chanting from the crowd, it was truly inspiring. Plus, as always with Mysteryland and Tomorrowland, the production created a magical environment that made the feeling extra special.”

MAKJ: Ultra — Miami, U.S.

“Miami is always a blur and this festival is no different. It’s one of my favorite festivals without a doubt. The crowd always have so much energy and I feel like they have been waiting the whole year for MMW to come around again and playing to them is such an adrenalin rush!”
