Hooking Up at Bonnaroo
There’s no denying it, music festivals become an unstoppable force. Fests sell out before their lineups are even announced and the clothes worn by VIPs influence the fashion industry almost instantly — with some fests inspiring their own capsule lines. Each music festival has their own crowd and personality, but all of them continue to promote the endless summer vibes that attract most of us to at least one throughout the year.
Truth be told, that’s not the only thing attracting us at one of the dozens of annual festivals in the US alone. The dream of a successful hook up is universal amongst the throngs of hot, sweaty and excitable festivalgoers.
But how is anyone supposed to make a love connection without a reliable internet connection? At Bonnaroo, the best way to truly find your festival soul mate is by living the Tennessee festival’s mantra to the fullest — “radiate positivity.” (Apparently, it also doesn’t hurt to stay fresh and clean while you’re camping.)
We sent Megan Batoon out to The Grove campground/oasis at The Farm to find out, first hand, the best ways to ensure a good hook up at a music festival. Single music lovers: take notes.
